3D Printing Fused Deposition Modelling
Our 3D printing technology utilises state of the art Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) technology to produce commerical quality components and working models.
Our 3D Worx Stratasys FDM printer can produce complex geometries with a high level of durability, accuracy and repeatability ready for use. Our equipment can produce complex functional parts including snap together, threaded or moving components.
The technology produces components from ABSplus which is a true production grade thermoplastic that is up to 40% stronger than standard ABS material. The finished components are far more durable, the finish quality is superior and the detail far greater.
Our FDM components can serve as the ideal product sample, concept model or to replace the original production parts.
Our standard print offering is ivory, however we can also produce in a variey of colurs such as: white, black, dark grey, red, blue, olive green, nectarine and fluorecent yellow.
STABILITY
3D Worx produces parts using a production grade thermoplastic which is long lasting and does not deterioate unlike Sterolithography (SLA) and
Slective Laser Sintering (SLS) technologies which use resins that are more susceptible to depreciation over time.
DURABILITY
3D Worx produces parts that last. The FDM thermoplatic used is the same as used for injection moulding. The parts are tough and resistant to heat, chemical and mechanical stress. Ask for a data sheet should you require more information.
ACCURACY
3D Worx produces parts to the highest tolernace. Complex geometries produced to your designs with a tolerance of +/-
